- Preparing surfaces: Spray Painters must prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and filling in cracks, dents, or other imperfections to ensure a smooth finish.
- Mixing and applying paint: They must mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade and texture. Spray Painters must then apply paint to surfaces using specialized equipment, such as spray guns or airbrushes.
- Ensuring proper coating thickness: Spray Painters must ensure that the coating thickness is appropriate and uniform throughout the surface.
- Maintaining equipment: They must clean and maintain their equipment, including spray guns, airbrushes, compressors, and other tools.
