Office Boy job Description:
Secretaries or administrative assistants perform the duties of an Office Boy. Depending on the company office setting, their responsibilities change. An entry-level position known as “office boy” is frequently held by interns or fresh graduates. Office boys carry out a variety of fundamental administrative tasks, including providing drinks to visitors or personnel, handling electronic documents and files, and introducing people to one another.
Office Boy Responsibilities:
- Using the phone, the internet, mail services, and email to spread information.
- Managing projects, preserving electronic and physical files, and organising them.
- Directing calls, screening calls, taking and conveying messages, and answering the phone.
- Maintaining and creating office systems, such as data management, filing, etc.
- Information to calls, greeting visitors to the business, and pointing people in the right direction.
- Keeping an eye on how the office’s tools and supplies are being used.
- Answering questions or responding to requests from both tourists and staff.
- Arranging for the upkeep and repair of office equipment.
- Helping other administrative workers with a variety of office responsibilities.
- Obtaining, distributing, and sorting emails as well as couriers and packages among the staff.
- Delivering and transmitting facsimiles, conducting any relevant internet search activities.
- Updating appointment schedules, making travel vouchers, doing basic word processing.
Qualifications:
- Office basics and a high school diploma.
- Degree from a recognised institution in any discipline.
- An extra advantage is having prior experience in administrative or clerical tasks.
Duty: 8 hour.
Contract period is 2 years.
