Coaster Driver Job Description:
A coaster driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers on a coaster bus, also known as a shuttle bus or mini-bus, to and from designated locations. The job description of a coaster driver typically includes the following duties and responsibilities:

Coaster Driver Job Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating the coaster bus in a safe and efficient manner, following traffic laws and regulations.
- Inspecting the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assisting passengers with getting on and off the bus, and securing their belongings if needed.
- Communicating effectively with passengers, answering questions and providing information about the route, schedule, and other relevant details.
- Monitoring and enforcing safety rules and regulations, such as wearing seat belts and keeping aisle ways clear.
- Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
- Following company policies and procedures related to the operation of the bus, including scheduling, timekeeping, and reporting of incidents.
- Maintaining a clean and organized bus interior, including regular cleaning of windows, floors, and seats.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.
- Adhering to all applicable laws and regulations related to driving a commercial vehicle, such as licensing requirements and hours of service rules.
Requirements:
The job of a coaster driver requires good driving skills, knowledge of traffic laws and regulations, and excellent communication and customer service skills. Coaster drivers must also be able to work independently, follow directions, and handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
