House and Park Mali Job Description:
The House and Park Gardener is responsible for maintaining the outdoor areas of a private residence or estate, including the gardens, lawns, and other landscaping features. This position may also involve some indoor houseplant care and maintenance.

House and Park Mali Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, plant, and maintain gardens and outdoor landscaping features such as trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass.
- Mow and edge lawns, trim hedges, and prune trees and shrubs to maintain a neat and attractive appearance.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems and other watering systems.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as necessary to keep plants healthy and pest-free.
- Monitor and maintain outdoor lighting systems, fountains, and other decorative features.
- Work with other staff members, such as housekeepers and maintenance technicians, to ensure a cohesive and well-maintained overall property.
- Provide care and maintenance for indoor houseplants, including watering, fertilizing, and repotting as necessary.
- Keep garden and outdoor equipment clean and in good working order.
- Monitor and manage the use of water and other resources to maintain sustainability and reduce waste.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or related field.
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and other outdoor landscaping features.
- Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Knowledge of sustainable gardening practices and eco-friendly techniques preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies as needed.
