You need to be on time, dependable, and have outstanding time management skills to succeed as a cab driver. A top-notch taxi driver will make sure that the car is always loaded with materials that can be of interest to customers, such as daily newspapers.
Taxi Driver Responsibilities:
- Gathering customers at the beginning of their journey.
- Helping customers as needed with the loading and unloading of their luggage and other things.
- The precise times for starting and stopping the taximeter.
- Unless otherwise asked, choosing the quickest route to the client’s destination.
- Escorting customers to their locations.
- Letting them know about any services or attractions that might be of interest to them.
- Following traffic rules.
- Ensuring client safety at all times during the voyage.
- Processing cash payments, making sure you always have enough spare change.
- Ensuring that the car stays spotless and in top operating shape.
Education: Metric
You know how to read, write and speak English.
