Room Attendant Job Duties:

Cleaning and maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors. Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, replenish toiletries, and ensure all surfaces are spotless. Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, elevators, and lobbies.

Restocking supplies: Ensure that all necessary supplies, such as towels, toiletries, and linens, are stocked and readily available in guest rooms. Replenish amenities like soap, shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries as needed.

Inspecting rooms: Check rooms for any maintenance issues or damages and report them to the appropriate department. Ensure that all appliances and equipment are in working order. Report any lost and found items to the supervisor or front desk.

Customer service: Interact with guests in a polite and professional manner, responding to their inquiries, requests, or complaints promptly. Provide assistance to guests when needed, such as delivering extra towels or arranging for room service.

Laundry services: Collect dirty linens and towels from guest rooms and deliver them to the laundry room for washing and drying. Fold and organize clean laundry and distribute it to the appropriate areas.

Adherence to policies and procedures: Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and fellow employees. Adhere to established cleanliness and quality standards.
